Default Tabitha from Tennessee

Hey I'm Tabitha from Nashville, well currently Shelbyville, Tennessee. I have a 1964 1/2 Mustang newly restored, it sat in a field for the past 30 years, it was my mother's first car. Its the one in my pics. JJ's mustang in Chattanooga TN did all the work. I have previously owned a 92 5.0 5spd and a 05 V6 5pd (yes, I know, a V6... lol) I am actually into cars in general though, Mustangs are just a particular favorite. I've probably owned more Hondas than anything else due to an ex-husband Honda mechanic. I've even had a super charged Cavalier. Anyway good to be here!

Drove it up from JJ's in Chattanooga this weekend, my first time driving it. Only problem was the accelerator got stuck while I was on the interstate. Every time I pressed it down lol. At first I thought it may have been stuck on the floor mat (had that problem in other cars) but nope. WD-40'd it and problem fixed. Drove very well. It likes to go fast, but I took it easy. I think my heart would literally break if anything happened to that car. I want to start entering it in shows. Evidently it was one of the first 600 mustangs made. Nothing super special about it but its very sentimental to me and my family.

Hey I'm Tabitha from Nashville, well currently Shelbyville, Tennessee.
Reminds me of the time I took the ferry to Shelbyville. I needed a new heel for my shoe so I decided to go to Morganville, which is what they called Shelbyville in those days. So I tied an onion to my belt, which was the style at the time. Now to take the ferry cost a nickel, and in those days, nickels had pictures of bumblebees on them. Give me five bees for a quarter you'd say. Now where were we, oh ya. The important thing was that I had an onion on my belt, which was the style at the time. They didn't have white onions because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big yellow ones.
