Thank you, I bought it 4 yrs ago, the body and paint and wheels were done about 12yrs ago and still looks good but its not perfect by no means.
The interior was trashed, engine was good but ran like crap, auto trans was good but shifter was in bad shape, needed attention to the brakes and while much of the suspension was done it had a couple issues. I paid 6k for the car and have just under 9k into it.
I completely re-did the interior with stock style parts, but put in a custom retro style stereo. Put an Edelbrock intake and 4bbl with dual exhaust kit, rebuilt the shifter and cleaned out the transmission and diff. Added a Shelby style suspension kit to it and fixed the braking issues. The brakes were new but not set up properly. Now it looks good, runs great and is fun to drive. I really just need to do a couple nit noid things like replace steering box (not bad but with new suspension it would be nice to tighten up the box) new steering wheel and I want to detail / paint the engine compartment.
I drive it several times a week too.
