Hey broooothers lol
Well my names Alex and recently i went from a
01 v6 manual mustang to a 1991gt. Im loving
mustangs since it was my first car.So this 91
5.0 has a few mods and im here to see if i could
possibly get some help. I might as well put its
info here. So the 91 has; edelbrock aluminum
heads with 2.02 head valves. Edelbrock
upper,lower intake throttle body.msd ignition.
And apparently a trickflow cam. .499/510. Now
thats the part i need help with. How do i tell if its
really cammed or if it just has a vacuum leak
cuz it does run rough. If i start it up and let run
on its own itll shut off after about a minute.
Sometimes itll run a little longer but mainly to
keep it alive i gotta give it gas. Any help would
be appreciated as i have a huge interest in cars
but im learning as i go on fixing stuff myself

Welcome to the forum, but this is a tech question and should be posted in the Fox tech section. You'll get a lot more responses and help. But to get you started, you could pull codes (Google for directions, very simple), that may point you in the right direction. After that, I'd start looking for a vacuum leak as these cars are getting old and the rubber hoses deteriorate and crack/split and is the #1 cause of idle/surge problems on Foxes. Good luck
