Well the only problem of it being bent is it was pretty difficult getting the radiator out as that is where it sits. From what I can see it did not touch the front bumper supports. It even ended up bending the radiator a bit but the car made it 2.5hrs home without overheating or leaking. I am going to do what I can to bend both sides back, if I need to hook a come-along to it I will.

Lack of updates on this build. So I was able to bend the core support back using a scissor jack and a couple of 2x4s. Also purchased a few more goodies for the car... Upper and lower control arms / ford racing b-springs / new shocks and struts / UPR kmember / MAC longtubes / 3.73gears / new radiator / solid motor mounts and trans mount / All new gaskets for my new engine. Im sure there is some other stuff I am missing.

Both Engines on the stand

Engine bay getting cleaned up

New engine degreased

Great pics it will interesting to follow your progress. Maybe that would bent metal would be best straightened by a body shop after you get her on the road. Wouldn't to have them go over the alignment.

I didnt really detail what was going on in each of the photos. The core support I was able to bend back straight with a couple of 2x4s and a scissor jack. After I got it bent back i sprayed it down with rust prevention and all is now well
