Default Finally took the plunge

Hello everyone,

I'm Matt and hail from central Pennsylvania. Back on December 5th, I bought my first Mustang. She's an automatic 2004 3.9 liter V6 with the 40th Anniversary Package. She's Crimson Red with now just 90,000 miles on her. She may not be the fastest Stang on the road, but she looks good getting there! Thankfully most of December has been somewhat mild as far as weather and temperatures go, so I've been enjoying the car while I can. I love driving it on the back roads here in PA, it always puts a smile on my face!

I've been lurking back and forth among the various Mustang forum sites and decided to take the plunge and join one.

Welcome and congratulations on your new mustang! She's a great color! I'm from central Pa, as well. Shamokin, to be exact. Weather has been pretty decent since a few days before Christmas, up til now. We got a few inches of snow today. Enough to put a damper on mustang enjoyment lol.

We got about an inch, and a lot of wind. I'm already anxious for spring to get here. Especially since I'm taking my Mustang to Cruisin Ocean City in May.

Where in PA are you from, if you don't mind me asking? Those photos look like Lewisburg Walmart, but I doubt it, because nobody on here seems to be from around my area lol.

I'm from Huntingdon PA. About 25-30 miles due south of Penn State. The picture was taken at the Huntingdon Wal-Mart where I work. It was the second day I drove it to work and with the beautiful weather that day, I had to snap a couple pictures. Good thing I did too, pretty much the rest of December had a dark gloomy look to the weather.

I guess all walmart parking lots look the same lol. I know we had a few warm days in december, but we had over a week of sunny days around Christmas time, granted, it wasn't warm. All I need is sun to enjoy my mustang. I don't car if it's 0 degrees, as long as it's sunny! Here's my new baby at the Lewisburg walmart, the day I picked her up, a week before thanksgiving.Name: 20141118_154132.jpg

That car looks fantastic! Looks like I'm not the only one who had Christmas come early this year lol. I love the color. I can't wait till summer when I can take my car to the local lake and take a few pictures with the lake in the background. I'd do it now, but it just isn't the same without leaves on the trees. Plus its not ungodly cold to be standing outside and trying to take a picture lol.

Thank you sir! It's Ruby Red metallic tinted clear coat. It was my only Christmas present I got this year, and I had to get it myself, lol, but it sure was worth it! I hear ya man, the nice weather can't get here soon enough. This is to be expected when you buy a mustang in the wintertime, in PA, lol. My car has been parked a majority of the time I had it, due to bad weather.
