Default New from Arizona

Hello. I just recently acquired a 1965 Mustang convertible. It had been "restored". The previous owner had switched the hinges on the doors to make them swing up like lamborghini doors. Luckily the original hinges were still with the car. I'm in the process of putting them on. In the process I discovered that a bunch of bolts were missing from the front clip and the bolts that were there, were just generic ones. I also discovered the wiring harness was a mess. Spliced up in places. I've purchased a new wiring harness and bolts for it. I'll be installing them once they arrive. Here are a couple of pictures of it when I first got it.

Welcome to the forum, congrats on your new Mustang. Good call on putting the stock hinges back in. What are people thinking lol. Good luck with the rest of it.

They weren't. Thats the problem.

On another note I have a set of hinges to convert a mustang to have lambo doors to sell.

Well the doors are being fixed as we speak. As well as a few other issues.
