Hey guys I just bought my first stang... friends always harassed me bout getting somthing with power so in 3 hours I sold my civic and bough this baby.. 87 gt super clean interior.. and very nice loud green paint.. set up suspension with ladder bars In the rear? Idk to be honest I'm not much of a car guy.. ima harley and utv guy.. so this will be a learning curve.. I'm sure I'll be using this forum alot lol... first question I have is the first problem to tackle.. the people who owned it before put long tube headers on and one of the tranI bolts rubbed a hole in the header... now do I gotta replace or is there gonna a be a way to fix.. and if I have to replace any recommendations.. thanks

Welcome to the forum! That's a great color, IMHO.

As for your question, you won't get much help in the New Members forum since this is just for introductions and such. Hop on over to the forum for your model year and post your issue there and you'll get some great input.

Welcome and congrats, nice to see another Fox around.

Sounds like you'll have to remove the header to weld, and depending on condition, replace if needed. But headers can be welded.

canamwrecker, welcome on board! Thanks for joining us. Love your Stang and the color - it definitely differs from the others. May it provide unlimited fun and unhampered travel across all terrains for as long as you two are together.

Welcome to the forum. That is actually the color I want to accent my trim with.

Looks great and as stated yeah you can probably weld it up just fine.

I am sure you will find plenty of info on the site. Enjoy and good luck.
