So I am into my 3rd year of drop top Mustang fun and I am enjoying the hell out of my '83 GLX...yeah, it is no racer, V6 has enough pep for runs to the beach for "cans and clams" and good summer music....I had some GT rims on it last year that I bought from a buddy of mine. They were 'nice' but did not have the visual "oomph" I was looking for...then I saw the American Racing Ansen Sprints and decided, "those are it!!"
Put a new Pioneer single DIN unit in it and replaced the speakers and while checking the speaker grilles in the dash pad...well, lets just say that a new dash pad is on it's way from American Muscle...
here's to "Summer cruisin' fun 2015"...Love all the attention the little GLX gets on cruise-in nights when all those big bad GT's, Shelby's and Bosses are all lined up....lots of fun.
