Default manual brakes and steering

I have a 1966 289, C4.
It is unrestored. Would like to improve manual steering and brake performance without power adding power, any suggestions?

Welcome to the forum.

My suggestion would be for you to go to the Classics sub forum here. The New Member area won't help you out much with your situation.

Welcome to the forum, as stated above, the Classics Tech section is where you'll get the best info.
