MY CAR: 2013 MUSTANG GT


Hey Guys,

I installed a new sound system in my car over the weekend and broke the sill plate when I tried to remove it. Normally they just snap in and out with metal retaining clip but not so with my 2013 mustang. There is a weird blue rubber grommet or sleeve that the plastic pin fits into but it is not easy to remove and all mine are broken now -- see the pictures below

Does anyone have proper removal and install instructions for this part. I need to order a new one from the dealer but have no idea how to get those blue rubber pieces out and if I should leave them in and just install the new sill plate?

the new piece should come with the new blue pieces, if it does, you just pry/pull the old ones out
