78mm throttle body on small CAI
Hey guys I'm knew to the Forums I have a 96 mustang gt that I'm looking to mod..just wanna keep it simple an do bolt on..I already have a CAI...the dimension are 2.5inch top tube..An 3.0inch bottom tube..a cheap Fender well eBay CAI..I'm looking to bolt on a 78mm bbk TB....if I not correct that's on the + side of a 3.0inch opening now will my 2.5inch intake tube that Mounce to that 78 millimeter throttle body rob me of any power gains should I buy a bigger CAI like a 3inch to match?...thanks

Welcome to the forum.
You can start a thread in the appropriate Tech section for your year car. They'll know more. But yes, your 2.5" intake tube will be your bottleneck for air flow.
BUT !!! Not on a stock motor. You'll see minimal gains from this mod.
