The best nods I put on my 05 v6 convertible has been a shock tower brace to stop the body roll in corners. Then cold air intake for an quicker response & 2 extra mpg on the hiway. Small investment at 150 each but made a measureable difference to my car. Good first ideas to start with

Wow that is low mileage for an 05. My feeling would be if the previous owner took care enough to keep the mileage down they probably took good care of it. My 05 has 135000 fun miles on it & only normal maintenance on it so far. Save your money for fuel to take a trip with your new car! Maybe put HID headlights in it but buy good ones. Cold air intake gets a little quicker response & slightly better mileage. Or a sequential taillight kit to dress it up abit. You can do those 3 mods for under $500 & enjoy them for the life of your car. Or the security blanket of extended warranty. Have faith in Ford

Welcome, I have a slightly older model 85 with only 66,000 on it. Convertible with 5 speed. you really need to know how to drive a stick to run this one.
