Default 1983 5.0 Vaccume

Hi everybody, this is my first post and my first Mustang. 1983
GLX 5.0 5 speed. The stock air cleaner has vac lines off the back that I can't seem to trace. The car had a miss between 2000 and 3000 rpm and a hesitation when it warmed up. Recent tune up and the same thing. Oh Holley 4 bbl. I took the air cleaner off and plugged to vac lines that were sucking and the car seems to run great. Have I messed something up or is that ok and I can put a chrome pot on it. Thanks

Welcome to the forum. I'd start a new thread in the '79 to '95 Tech Section, someone there will know where to route those lines. And yes, plugging the vacuum leaks is always a good idea, it really messes with the air/fuel ratio when the motor gets unmetered air.
