Default 2000 gt fuel pump issues

Hey guys, Im having some issues with my fuel pump not kicking on to prime. I've checked the inertia switch at the rear, and I'm getting power on both sides, and was thiking it would only be for 2 seconds or so for that first initial prime before start up, but I'm getting power constantly. I checked the plug going to the tank and got kind of confused when there's a plug with I believe 7 wires going in? Would guess it would be two. But I found two prongs that were getting power constantly and didn't shut off. Not sure what it could be. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Fuse for the pump isn't blown, and unless the relay is stuck open I'm at a loss. I was going to drop the tank and wire in the pump to see if it kicked on, but if it's getting power always, wouldn't it already be doing the same thing? Maybe pump burned out from being stuck on? Thanks in advance and sorry if I'm in the wrong topic area, new here.

Late ! I am but I just replaced my fuel pump to find a blown fuse , is it due to bad fuel pump ? Will Replacing the fuse crank the car ? Or is it more ? Will it blow ?
