Default v6 ecoboost project for 2016 mustang

New to this forum, but anyways I'm looking for some possible insight. Im considering a 2016 mustang and I've been looking at the ecoboost but keep getting turned away from the fact that its a 4 cylinder. The build I'm looking at for the eco boost is approx. $30k, but if i go a v8 route the GT build i would want is around #41k. But i got the idea that would it be possible to instead of spending the extra $11k for the GT, could I purchase the ecoboost build, then switch out the 4 cyl ecothumper for a v6 ecoboost engine?

It would be unique, more efficient than the 5.0 and a more fun build. So basically what I'm asking is, is this even a possible fitment and would i be able to reuse computer from the 4 cyl eco/other parts? If so, is it worth the cost? new v6 eco is approx. $7k-$8k

Welcome aboard.

You could buy the V6 and do some tune and exhaust work for cheap.

If you do what your planning you would void the factory warranty.
