Newbie in Michigan
Hey all! Just snooping around & wanted to introduce myself & not be a lurker
Lifelong car nut here but I've taken the last 6ish years off to do other things (family issues & home remodeling). Finally back & after a year of looking for a new toy I'm proud to say that tomorrow I'll be cruising in my "new" 2010 GT. Been a long road, had my butt test driving GTO's, Camaros, a Viper, Challenger, a turbo Nissan Z... Huge step for me being a kind of old school, ahem, GM guy. I used mod & be very active on other message boards (I'm QuickNick, 2X4 & LukeBizzy on all boards) so I know the value of a good group of people. I'm getting the new Stang delivered tomorrow so the fun begins then.
Honestly, I'm new to the Ford idea so I'll be searching a lot & asking the occasional stupid question! Right off the bat I'm just going to enjoy the car, but its going to end up at the strip soon enough. Happy to see a 12.99 out of it this year so I'm trying to be realistic. Drag radials, gears, line lock are all in the immediate plans. Its an auto, so converter will have to be in the works also. For now, enjoy & learn the new beast! yadda yadda...
So the car. Its a 2010 GT, auto, 50K on it. I haven't dug into it yet, but its got awesome looking American Muscle wheels on it & a Roush cat back. Shes clean & shiny!
If your interested in some of my other junk, here is a link to my Picturetrail page.

Looking forward to learning a lot here, only problem is deciding where to start looking! Thinking a Bama tuner maybe??
If your in the SW Michigan area give me a shout, I'm at a track or show nearly every weekend.

Thanks
Had it 6 hours now & impressed. The Roush exhaust is amazing sounding (I scared a kid with it!).
Its also got an Airaid CAI & some sort of lowering springs on it. I think that's it for mods as far as I can see.

Let me know when you go to Milan. I work in Monroe and spend most of my week there so figure I'll probably hit them up on Wednesday test and tune this summer.
