Default Removing the Shaker 1000 and Installing aftermarket stereo

I have a 2007 GTCS and I want to remove the Shaker 1000 Audio system and put in an aftermarket head unit, subs, and amps. I was wondering if there is anything I need to do to turn the power off to the rear amps to remove them. Do the just unplug? Where is the power coming from? As far as the head unit goes, Is there anything I need to look for when replacing it? Do I need a special adapter to maintain dash and other electronic components? Any help is appreciated!!

Welcome to the forum. I'd ask this in the Tech section, you'll get more responses in there. Good luck

If I were you I would keep the Shaker 1000 system and just replace the speakers.

Welcome aboard!!!
