Default Quick question

So I have a v6 2015 mustang, & if I replace the resonator with an x pipe , will it increase the speed ?

I don't know the answer to your question, but I clicked on your question because the title said "quick question." I think you may have more replies if you mentioned something related to your question in your title. Then people who really know the answer will reply. Have a blessed Sunday.

Congrats on the car, welcome to the forums.
For tech questions on that model, post in the S550 section.

You will get different answers but the correct one is no, you won't even notice it except for the noise. It will certainly sound faster and that is all that matters.

Welcome to the forum.

And as stated above, you'll see no improvement.

Okay gotcha thanks, good to know. Now is there a difference between an X pipe and an H pipe ?

Doesn't the car already have an X pipe from the factory?

There is supposed to be a slight tonal difference but the whole idea is to equalize pulses and most aftermarket pipes to replace the resonator are x-pipes I believe.
