New to the scene, not to the cars
How's it going folks! Have to say I avoided mustang forums and clubs until now! I have a 1970 fully restored mustang Coupe that me and my pops built 13 years ago together been my baby ever since. He bought her for me for $450 when I was 14. I then lost many a girlfriends there after because I spent too much time with my car!! Complete interior, exterior, over 300 hours of body work alone (she was 450 for a reason, wrecked 4 times and we pulled out from under a downed tree that destroyed the roof). Motor was completely done, stereo system, paint. All getting ready to get ready done completely a second time! And she made it through high school, college, and even daily driving her for almost a year when I lost my Motorecycle license to a judge (I deserved it).
Been am amazing relationship. My dad is the second registered owner on the car, got it and the dash read something like 45k. From our best guess it didn't roll over yet, motor still looked clean ran well, suspension was still in good shape. The previous owner couldn't drive (obviously) and it didn't look like it made it through his high-school and college years like it did for me. We did a full restoration down to the uni body. Unfortunately no rotisserie for us, but I thank my lucky stars I had access to a lift.
I have personally owned am 87 gt 5.0 convertible, and a 2000 gt Coupe as well. I love mustangs, and pride myself on their reliability for me. I love loading up my 70 and going out to help friends that are broken down in it just because they like to talk smack about it being a Ford. But it's saved many a car including jumping a $140k hemi Cuda multiple times because it lost an alternator at 2 am and we had to figure out how to get it back to the shop (1 block at a time). Drove my 87 19 hours one way on a road trip one time, even thought I was crazy.
I love mustangs and everything they stand for.
Joined the forums to chat cars and to bring to market a few parts that could help finish someone's build th as the I've been hoarding away for years. Nothing too crazy and not a huge quantity.
