Default New guy saying hi

Hey all. I just bought a 02 GT Convert on Halloween. Got to drive it about 1000 mi before the snow and salt hit the ground. This winters project is planning and getting the right mods done. Can't believe how much I'm planning on spending, but it will be a rush! Have been reading and learning tons on this and other sites so I just wanted to say hi and thanks!

hotrodman...i was looking into the basic starting blocks - intake, exhaust, gears - but now i'm leaning toward going for the s/c first. really like what I'm hearing about the Kenne Bell having no lag and full boost at 2K.

kb , is truelly a nice piece , with more potential also , but you canreach the limit of your short block , just keep the boost down for now and youll be fine , since you have a vert i would do some minor chassis stiffing , strut tower brace, sub... , i know you prob have some oem now but there better , if you want to just slap on a sc and keep it simple some exhaust would be nice and some means of keeping good traction to put it to good use. maybe a drop in pump to keep thing safe too.

The extra strengthing is a good idea. Will look into more of that. I'm thinking abourunning 295's all around to keep it snug.
