Hello all!

I am the proud pissed off owner of a beautiful 2002 Mustang GT that won't start if it doesn't want to.

I have read several threads/posts in here about similar problems.

Let me explain in more detail...I bought my mustang Tuesday, today is Thursday,Idrove happily for about 4 hours, and when I tried to start it after leaving a friend's house it wouldn't start.

It wouldn't turn over, no click, nothing. It seemed as if I didn't have the clutch in all the way. Well, after many tries, and finally moving the car a few feet in neutral, just as a test, I was able to start the car. I took it to the Dodge dealer I bought the car used from, and they sent it to Ford since it's still under "waranty."

I was lucky enough to have thedodge service manager re-create this problem, and see it in action, however, once the Ford dealer got it, no such luck. So, I am waiting for tomorrow, and if the FOrd dealer cannot re-create it, I'm screwed until next time, and even if I get the car to the Ford dealer, they may not be able to re-create the problem then...since it's highly intermittent, and seemingly temperamental.

Anyways, I had the best 4 hours of my life that afternoon, and when I get this car back, it will be many more hours of happiness I'm sure. But I'm not surehow to get FOrd to fix this problem. I spoke with their Service Manager, then the Ford corporateservice, then his supervisor. If they can't recreate it, theycan't help.

This is very frustrating, and I see that many members of this forum have had this same problem. Anyone have any pointers that are truly applicable??

Thanks, and I look forward to a great forum style relationship here at mustangforums.com!!
