Default ::::From Jap to American::::

whats up everyone Im Kevin. Im from Chicago I picked up a 5.0 for $200 with a built engine but front end damage.
I dont know anything about stangs soo this is all very new to me. I have a eclipse gs that i did a motor swap on but im gonna part it out kuz i got a new car now and really need the money. $1200 is wanted just to fix the front end jsut great but after the new clutch flywheel and the damage is fixed, it should be a very nice car. But yeh I just thought Id tell ya about who I am, my car and what not. Well hit me up sumtime I need all the help I cant get haha. I never touched a carb before very wierd and much to learn. Hope you guys can help me out some. Well thanx alot!!!!!

Welcome to the forum! If you're looking for carb help, going to the 5.0 section should help. We also have a guy named C/Note on here that knows everything about cars. If anybody could help you with carbs, he can. They're a lot easier to work on than FI, once you get the hang of it...from my somewhat limited experience anyway...

Welcome to the forums! Wow it sounds like you got a deal on that car.A Built motor would have costed you more than that. Sounds like a very good deal. do you have any specs on the motor? or mods done to it?

only reason i got it like this is kuz the last owner was an idoit. theres about 1200 front damage as im told but im tryin to find my own parts for it so i can just take it in to repair the frame.
