Dammm....I am gone for a day and I come back to 4 extra pages. Changing out the brakes and rotors turned into a great experience yesterday. I first changed the oil, rotated the tires....3 of which are pretty much bald .....and then when it comes time to change the brakes we hit a snag. The rotors that I got from advanced auto were the wrong ones......so we decided to just put the original stuff back on because advanced did not have the right ones in stock...nor did some other places that my mom called while we were working on it ( I find it hard to belive that no1 around here carries those rotors..she prob just didnt call ). So we put everything back on and when I take it around the corner to see if everything sounds good it ended up sounding like a freaking duck was caught in the caliper. The breaking power is good but it sounds like crap. I am going to take it all apart again today and see what we can find. We were stumped and were thinking that maybe something happened to a bushing when the car was up....or maybe we didnt set the caliper back perfectly. Either way...it was doing it on both sides of the car.........wow what a long post

I went to the swap meet at LVD today and came home empty handed.
It was mostly circle track stuff and I probably couldve built 12 complete dirt modifieds with the parts there.
Hardly any Ford stuff. There were 2 fox bodies for sale- a ragged out '87-'93 GT and a '79 Capri turned into an '85 Mustang with shaved door handles- a real POS.
