This weather sucks. I just put the stock rim/tires back on. Hey Nick.......did you switch over your TPMS sensors to your new rims when you got them?...or did you just get new ones. I took them out of my stockers and put them into the GT4's I got.... I drove the car today with the original rims and no TPMS light went on.....hmmm...maybe this whole thing is a hoax
I'm so glad the Cali got cleaned up and put to sleep yesterday.
Never got to the Golf sale. So I saved money there....
Tim, polishing aluminum is such a pain in the @$$, but it looks so nice when you're done. I used to spend hours polishing the aluminum tunnel and other parts on my snowmobiles. Bling!
I have used Mother's and Wenol, but like Speedy Metal Polish much better. IMO it gives better results in less time. Plus it holds up longer. Here is the link, if you're inclined to check it out. http://www.speedymetalpolish.com/products.html
Matt, when I got the 20's I bought a full setup with TPMS, bands and cradles and had them installed on the wheels when I had the tires mounted. So when I put the stockers back on I just recalibrated the OEM sensors. I have the tool to do it if you need it. I bet in a few miles your dash will be letting you know that there is a TPMS error. From my experience, it's no hoax.
