This crap will probably be gone by tomorrow anyway. I think half of it melted already.
Im still waiting on some gaskets to come (theyre on the Fed Ex truck now according to tracking info) and Im probably not getting the car back this weekend- no big deal. Ill probably have an update on the progress tonight or tomorrow afternoon because I need to give those gaskets to my friend so he can put them on.
Im looking forward to shifting my own gears on the Mustang for the first time. Manually shifting an AOD doesnt count.
damn[8D]
Ive done it but its just not the same. Especially on the AOD which doesnt have an actual second gear selection.

Yeah, I feel like I have to be careful when I do it so I only do it every now and then (and definately not at WOT).
The titanium SC is bone stock. I bought that car from the original owner in Long Island late last summer. He had the water pump replaced about 2 years ago but when the shop was replacing the leaking water pump, they somehow "found" a cracked timing cover. So they replaced that too. When the owner went back to get the car, he said the car had no power and when he got home he called the shop. They told him it wasn't anything they did, but to bring it back and they would lok at it. So, he was driving it back to the shop the next day when it died. The shop told him it was $350 for them to just troubleshoot the car because it was supercharged. He said no thanks, had the car towed back to his house, and there it sat until I bought it last summer.I have all the receipts and every piece of factory paperwork including the original warranty card and dealer invoice from Ford. I suspect the crank sensor is bad in this car and have a new one waiting to be installed, but I can't do it with the car buried in a snowbank. I also need to replace the chipped front bumper cover.
My red SC has a few mods including a CAI, poly motor mounts and suspension bushings from front to rear. White faced gauges and a short throw shifter as well as Blue Point headlight and driving lights were also installed. It also has an aftermarket rear spoiler with LED brakelight. The car also has an electric "pusher" fan to assist in cooling. The car needs brakes, E-Brake cables and an exhaust as well as new paint job. It runs 100% though and I really love driving it.
As I said, I know they aren't Mustangs, but they still turn heads and I do love the sound of a whining supercharger whenI hit the on ramp of the Northway!

What car lot has the SC? It's a shame it's sitting there like that.
I am kicking around the idea of building up the red SC simply because it has the 5 speed manual. I found a short block for $100 in New Hampshire I'm going to pick up probably next weekend.I would like to build that up and drop it into my red SC whenI get it done. I want to keep the streetability of my cars though so I don't know how far overboard I'm going to go with it.
I am definitely keeping the V6's in both cars though. My red SC gets great gas mileage, but I don't beat it either.
I am curious as to where the SC is on the used car lot you're talking about. What color is it? I have to be careful though because I want to get a Stang and if I keep picking up SC's, I'll never get my Stang. Too many cars, not enough time!
