what kind of stang you looking for? with those SC's i see you wanting a M90 swapped sixxer
I'm in the process of trying to figure that out right now actually. I would really like something like a 99 GT or Cobra, but I also like the look of the Fox bodied GT's as well. D'ellaFord has a 2006 black GT and a 99 V6 green convertible on their lot I was thinking of stopping by and taking a look at. I hate trying to deal with that dealership though. I tried out a 97 Cougar there and the electronic overdrive in the AOD was screwed up but they tried telling me the car only shifted into overdrive above 70mph. yeah...ok...right. And monkies fly out of my ass at midnight on Wednesdays too.
Anyways, the green convertible has been there for months but the black GT just rolled in there last week. Like I said, there are a ton of newer Stangs showing up on used car lots and I'm really beginning to wonder why...

My old tranny is out and the new one is about ready to go in. I just came back from seeing it.
The exhaust leak was also found (blown header gasket) and for some reason I was using the wrong spark plugs.

The AOD was definately smoked and the fluid smelled burnt according to my friend. I figured it had to be junk because of the way it was shifting.

Yeah...Nemer Ford is bringing out all their 'Stangs now too. I went up there last month and looked at a couple Shelbys sitting on their lot, but I liked the selection at Metro Ford on State Street alot more. I didn't really care for the salesman at Nemer either. Too conceited and had a "know-it-all" attitude when it came to the new Mustangs which didn't impress me a whole lot.

Eh..I had a bad buying experience at Metro. When I was looking into get my car I went there...and after talking to the salesman I told him that I was not looking to buy for another month (because I needed to make sure I sold my car) and he told me "well....when you win the lottery come back" Then I told him that plan on buying and he came back and said "ya I hear that all of the time"
So...needless to say I did not get my car there (got it at Jack Byrne) and when I brought my louvers/chin spoiler to metro to get painted he saw me get out of the car..and asked me where I got it. I told him that I fell into some money and it was an impulse buy

Matt, that's hilarious. Hopefully you rubbed it in just right so that he'll kick himself everytime he thinks of the "one that got away." Maybe he learned to not be such a d!ck

My father said the guy who trims our trees does just that, trim. He doesn't tackle the huge stuff like removing a big oak. Sorry

The salasman I talked to at metro was wet behind the ears to say the least. It was obious he was brand new because he had to introduce me to his manager before he showed me any of the Stangs on the lot.
He wasn't very knowledgeable about what options came on which cars, but he did make an effort to answer my questions and asked his manager for the answers I was looking for. In my opinion that's better than having a fat mess sitting behind a desk rattling off production numbers, option codes and so forth, but won't give me a straight answer whenI ask him how much the car is that I'm looking at buying. That's exactly what happened at Nemer. I can find out production numbers, color options and so forth on my own. The bottom line is, HOW MUCH? And the 6 figures they're going to be asking for the Shelby GT500KR just turned me off right there. Oh well, there's a Mustang somewhere with my name on it...it's just a matter of time.
