The airport in Newport NH is hosting a Run What Ya Brung event on Sept 12th. I went last year and it was fun. Basically they setup a radar trailer like they have on the side of the road and you run a 1/4 give or take and they give you your speed.
It would be nice to meet some more mustang owners out here.

I'm going! Thanks for letting me know when it's gonna be...I've been trying to find out. Not sure if I'll have my car with me but I sure as hell am gonna try!

No problem, I've been waiting for them to announce when they were going to host it. There were rumors that they might not do it again. I hope to see some people there.
I can't imagine why they wouldn't want to do it, they always have a huge turnout...last year our group was an RX7, a GTI, a 350Z and a Civic Si.
I'm hoping to see more Mustangs represent this year, last year there was like 3 or 4.
The RX7 most likely won't be there, I don't think we'll have it done in time, the Si will probably be there again, the GTI will probably be there and be much faster(full exhaust, front mount, and APR tuned now) and I don't know about the 350...haven't heard from him lately.

You're in some of my pics? Ha, that is funny. I won't have my Stang done in time to run, but I'll still be there. My friend with the RX7 is hoping he'll be done in time, but unless the guy that is welding up his intercooler piping calls him sometime in the next couple days, it won't be done. Actually the kid who owns the 7 and the guy that's doing the welding of the piping both work at Whelen in the sheet metal department....
Hoping for good weather and a good car turnout.
