Default how to protect convertalbe top?

I have a 02 GT convertible. I bought this stuff from my local pats store and put it one but it did not work very will. I need to find something that will protect and revitlize my top before it gets to bad and I have to replace it. If anyone knows what I could put on it and where to get it that would me great. Thanks!!!!!

First I would recommend cleaning the top with a diluted all purpose cleaner. You want the top completely clean before you apply any protectant. I use Poorboys Trim Restorer on vert tops. This will revitalize old tops and keep newer tops looking new. Both of these products can be found on my website. www.obsessivedetail.com

Let me know if you have anymore questions I can help you with. You can also e-mail me at Juztang@charter.net, pm me or call me directly at 217-304-7294. Thanks!

Justin

This is going to sound really odd...but we use that...bleche? white cleaner on it. After I saw the aftermath I was shocked, it looked brand new and shined for quite some time (thiswas on a black top).

I've never used the Wesleys Bleach White on vert tops. I know you have to keep it away from painted surfaces or it can really mess them up. I think it is mainly a tire product.

I would stay far away from top waxes. Just wash it and rinse vwery well and get 303 to put on it. I have a black top and just used it and it looks awesome.
