I might have just found my new wheels... are you going to be offering the chrome in 18x9/18x10 too?

The Chrome will be coming in a few months in both fitments for 18x9/10.

Lance,

I'm in the market for some FR500 style wheels. I've been reviewing comments by other customers, etc., etc... Anyway, I was surprised that you don't have many (until now) FR500's available for the S197's. I was really looking for something less shiny than chrome, but not so stealthy as black.

But, I would be willing to consider Chrome via pix as good as these on the black ones. Any guess on availability? Any other finishes in the works?

I see on your web site that there is a GT4 chrome available w/o pictures. Do you have any "unofficial" pictures of those?

I'm looking for 18 x 9 front, 18 x 10 rear. I do a couple HPDE events per year, and am looking for a bit more tire width.

Not to hold you to it, but any idea if the FR500 or GT4 styles provide more clearance for brake upgrades? I am still running stock, but would like to have more room available. It is difficult to tell this from the different width and offset numbers.

Sorry for all the questions! Thanks in advance!

We only make the FR500 in the 94-04 fitment, but I believe the 18x9 all the way around will work for your vehicle. In the GT4, we have the correct offset for the S197 and you can run the staggered 18x9/10. The chrome will not be here for a couple of months in that wheel, and we will only offer chrome or black. As soon as they arrive I will provide "unofficial" images. The black has a beautiful finish though and we are looking forward to seeing them on a vehicle.

Regarding the larger brake packages, you should probably give us a call and ask for SHAWN in Sales. He will have the most insight to modified vehicles. 1-866-273-3651 we can also pull up our entire inveneory and go over all of your options right there ont he phone. There is a lag on getting products up on our website, so the safest bet is always a phone call.

Thanks for the interest in our products.

Thanks for the info Lance!

I'll check back before pulling the trigger on a final decision.

I will be expecting a PM when the chrome ones come in.

Are there any plans for a black chrome version? I'd pounce on that in a heartbeat.

It's looking like the September time from for the chrome. I will start a thread when they arrive.

Regarding black chrome, we haven't ever tried that finish in any of our wheels. We are experimenting in the Corvette / Camaro market right now with a matte black finish.
