I had an SUV back into my car in a parking lot last October. The woman claimed I was in her blind spot. I guess you have a pretty big blind spot when you don't bother turning around to look where you're going. I had parked my car, was out of it and going across towards her when she backed straight for more than 30 feet into my car. She probably would have run over me too if I had stayed behind her. I would have pounded on her rear window if I had realized she wasn't going to stop.
At least I was able to get it properly repaired. As long as her insurance takes care of getting it repaired, just fix it and move on. And don't get so close behind big vehicles in the future.

ive had 2 near missed now from people reversing at me, both times ive had to throw it in reverse and spin the tires to avoid them... BOTH were women in minivans ironicly, 1 of them over shot the drive thru speaker, reveresed at me, then pulled so far towards it she went on the curb... its insane how many people can't drive for ****.
Dude that's horrible!!!! I hope the ticket is proof enough of her wrong doing .....for her insurance to pay up!!!

Get a California Dreaming hood and a GT take off bumper/grill, that should look cool.

Wow man, that is a terrible judgement call on the cop's part. If you see him again, tell him I've got some magical healing snake oil to sell him.
Imagine if word of this gets out to Hummer drivers. Get a big enough car and you can be exonerated if you "just didn't feel it hit the other car."
Also when you say you were waving your arms when you got out of the car, I am imagining it was not a "everything's OK here" type of wave.....probably more like a "WTF you stupid @#$#@$" type of wave. The fact that he believed that excuse is stunning. I bet the woman was even suprised he bought it.
At least her insurance would still have to cover it, I imagine. Unless she's got a story for that...
