I can't believe it, i was sitting at a stop light in my legend lime convertible. a white H2 was waiting to turn in front of me. She pulled out into the lane, saw that there was a car comming and decided to wait so she threw it into reverse without looking, while talking on her cell phone, and backed right over my car. The bumper didn't coome close to hitting mine. I was honking and jumped out waiving my arms. She glanced back, wile still talking on the phone and just drove off.
Later the police found and questioned her. she stated to them that me jumping out waiving my arms was to tell her everything was ok, and went on to tell them that she didn't even think she had hit me because she did not feel anything, even though I was pushed back a good foot with my foot on the brake.
The ultimate insult came when they said they would not charge her with a hit and run because she didn't think she had hit me and they could not prove she knew she had run into me. The only ticket issued was a improper backing because she did not look behind her before she backed up. That sounds like a ticket you would get when you back over someone's beer cooler with your boat trailer, not when you park your H2 on hte hood of someone's car.
Hood buckled and puched into fender, bumper distroyed from the grill getting bent back, headlight gone, radiator cover, hood liner. The list goes on and on.
All I can say is watch out for stupid rich bitches in H2's that are on their cells! If i had been on my motorcycle i would have really been hurt.
Anyway, looking now for a cool hood, pony grill and a cool looking bumper for my 05' convertible. Anyone have sugestions on where too look for some sheet metal that would stand out without looking too "rice". Something that has the quality of oem but looks a little different? Also need new headlight assy. Anyone know how much they cost?

Dude, that SUCKS! You are lucky they found her though, or you would have been left holding the bag and paying your deductible. Good luck to you and your repairs. Personally, I think people should have to take driving tests to drive a suv.
But in all seriousness, that's a bunch of bull****! O_O Is there any way you could do something, like with a lawyer? There has to be something. :\ At least you're alright.
That sucks man! I would have been completely pissed and chased her down on foot. LMAO, I know because I had a similar thing happen three or four years ago to my old Elantra. Some dumb ass in a big ol truck decided to back up at stop sign and turn around in the middle of the road smashed the piss out of my front end then proceeded to drive off. I chased his ass down on foot and luckily caught him at the next stop sign and told him what he had done, and then he didn't believe me. I had like 20 witnesses though at the time because it was 4th of july and this was down by the fireworks so there were all sort of people on the streets. In the end his insurance paid for everything. Her's should too.

LMAO @ Pual. Yeah nowadays I would have done the same, but back then that was all I could afford, and I had only had the car for three days. So I was Pissed!
I had a big ole truck back into my chevy blazer a while back. They paid and now I'm driving a Mustang as a result.
Make the best of it and get the highest estimates you can to turn into her insurance company. You know that little witch knew she hit you.
