When I bought my car it had two new Riken Raptor tires in the rear. I like them, they look good and grip really well too. I need to replace the front and just found them for $75 a piece...dayummm thats awesome. But, the price scares me a bit. Has anyone here tried them? The price has me wondering if I'm gonna have to buy tires again in six months. But, I want all four to match and can't afford to dish out $$ for all four right now, so I'm kinda stuck.
And on that note, should I go with stock 245/45 all the way around?

No, they are made by Michellin. (I had to do some searching for them...I hadn't heard of them either) Only a couple of online dealers sell them, I've found them at Summit and another store called tires-easy. I know, $75 a piece is dirt cheap, especially for the size and speed rating.

Ahhh...I'm a bit too anal for that. I do want the tires to match, the fact that they don't now is driving me crazy. I figure even if I do have to replace the tires in six months to a year, the $180 shipped price for the two would be worth it. And, the few reviews I have found on the tire say that it is good and has good tread life...I can't figure out why they are so cheap. Here they are.

Get some Potenza G009's... I've had them for a few months since I blew my passenger side front tire, and they are AMAZING. I grip wet concrete as if it were dried by mid-day sun. I can't spin the tires for the life of me, I think they cost in the ballpark of $169.99 though ...
