Also there's a law now that makes it illegal for an American to go abroad and have sex with anyone under 18 in other coutries like Amsterdam, etc, even if it's legal there. Which is weird cause the age of consent in the US is under 18 in some states.
Anyway, prostitution shouldn't be illegal (with adults!) but it's bad, mmmmkay?

Take a better look at the state by state age of consent laws. Age of consent: 16. As long as that 16 year old isn't bumpin uglies with an 18+. That's probably why it's illegal for Americans to go abroad and have sex with 16-17 yr olds.
