The older I get, the more I enjoy Thanksgiving over Christmas. Great when Santa buys you gifts, but for adults, turkey day cost less, there's not as much expectation and it's always a long weekend off from work.
I love giving too much to like Thanksgiving over Xmas, plus we typically go on vacation over thanksgiving break and that cost a hella lot more $$$ than xmas.

no doubt.. i pretty much DRED christmas anymore.. it seems my funds are always pretty good midyear and i think 'man, ill actually have xmas money this year' then somehow, some way **** happens and im broker than broke by christmas.. i freakin hate it and alwyas feel so bad and poor when i go to my parents/bf parents adn they got all these presents for us and **** and we got them.. towels.. lol
