What version do you guys use? My friend has a version where she can just click repeatedly and the lasso selects from point to point, whereas mine I have to hold the button down the entire time Im tracing... and often times my whole picture will turn white while Im in the middle of tracing..

use the polygonal lasso or the magnetic lasso, or if youre advanced enough, use the pen tool

I never even knew about the other lassos [&:] This should be alot easier to select things thanks lol! And Im by no means advanced lol. I just started out with PS, editing some pics of my car and stuff like that, but nothing too hard.. I was actually about to ask you for a new sig cause my car looks different now and I cant seem to make one that I like [>:] I think my best PSed pic so far has to be my tiki lol
