When a person dies, they loose all control of their bodily functions (duh). All muscles go limp before rigamortis sets in. Hence, anything that was being held back erm... breaks the dam, and gushes out!

cool (not really but ...meaia) because i looked on the ground, and i didn't see much blood so i figured the remaining got caught up in the clothing.

There wouldnt be much blood on the ground. He was dragged for a 1/4 mile before the truck stopped. Not to mention he got slammed into the truck. When he got pulled out, he probably gushed a ton of blood, but at the time of the picture, the pressure of being slammed into the truck kept it all in. Ever hear about people in a crash who are cut in half by an engine, being pinned in their seat, but are alive until they try to move the person from there they are? The engine is keeping pressure on the blood system, the second it is gone, they bleed to death nearly instantly.

No, I did not take the pics, they are circulating here locally. A friend on mine knew the guy. The bad thing is, the guy in the pics had a buddy killed a week before, same type of deal, but he hit a car.
ouch, must suck for your friend
