Well, i bought my 2000 gt all by myself, im 19 parents didnt pay a damn cent. However i have an unusual income for someone my age. I agree i hate when peoples parents buy there kids somehting like that... maybe a beater car but nothing fast. I know if it was handed to me... i wouldnt have nearly the respect I would for my car.

I'm 18 my dad bought me my first car an 89 4 cyl mustang automatic for 1895 I drove it until the transmission went out. My dad then bought me my 2nd car a 74 5.0 mustang 5 speed. He then spent thousands on it to get the motor rebuilt and tranny fixed and to keep it running. He then spent thousands more to replace the transmission after it went. After spending 2,000 on the last tranny that went he finally said "no more" He then helped me get a loan and my own car payments. [:'(] lol
