Default 5.4 = not enough credit

I was reading the latest issue of car and driver where they tested a linginfelter z06 against a heffner ford gt, heffner gallardo, hennessey viper, and a stock saleen s7. I was very surprised by some of the stuff i saw. The viper and z06 both had issues completing the tasks, blowing gaskets and what not with like 50k dumped into the drivetrains. The gallardo was slow as balls compared to everything else...the fastest of them all was on the ford gt, and what did heffner have to say about the car trapping in the mid 140's and smoking everything else? well it had a stock longblock. WHAT THE ****! nearly 1200hp on a completely stock block with a heffner tt setup! and it was toughing it out way better than fully race prepped ls7's and 8.4 v10's....that is god damn impressive and i think the 5.4 gets a fraction of the credit it deserves with potential like that!

it was probably heffner. Taking down linginfelter with a car that costs 70k less is godly for publicity. im just waiting for the gt500 guys to get these turbo setups going...1000whp gt500's ftmfw!
