Yeah, Hyundai has been working on this for a while now. I bet it'll be a nice car, and a damn good value. Just wait until there's 300hp rwd Tiburons running around everywhere.......
they will still be slow. a friend of mine has a tibby that has full exhaust (headers back) intake manifold, and a Vortech S/C.....its still slow....its quick, but sitll slow

yea but the new one is a diff platform. rear wheel drive with a v8. tried and true
This car is going to be 300+ HP, and RWD. It was made to directly compete with the Mustang. Car will retail at under $30,000, and have many ugrade options. like Brembo big brake upgrade kit, limited slip diff, and a 6 spd manual trans. Will definitely be a cool car, but I wouldn't buy the first production year model considering this is Hyundai's first crack at a RWD sports car.
ill be honest, i got a little excited when i saw 375hp and hyundai on the same screen. i have doubts that whatever this 375hp beast is will make it into something sporty, but its kinda like seeing the little brother get a good punch in on his big brother. i think they already tried the luxury market with that ugly thing they released a while back but they must have found out people want some nuts to go with their leather.

You guys are way behind... Hundai has been talking for about 6 months about the next gen tiburon being a rwd 6 speed v8 to compete directly with the mustang, with that exact motor in it. It was supposed to be in the 08, but I think they scrapped it and are going with smaller motors, but still RWD instead of FWD.

2010 model based off of the Genesis platform that is being called a Mustang fighter is too small for the big V8, so they are using a 3.8 V6 with ~300 hp and a price of less than 25K. 6 speed manual or 5 speed automatic.*

Motor Trend has reported both the v8 and V6 for the 2 door off the genesis program.. they keep flipflopping (every car mag does). I dont think we will know for sure what its getting untill its released.. but still. A rwd tibby wouldnt be a bad thing.
