***I just found a web based client, which makes it easier to connect. no need to download anything*** 1) Go to mibbit.com 2) from the drop down server box, select OTHER SERVERS at the BOTTOM 3) use irc.gamesurge.net 4) type in a nickname 5) type in #mustangforums as the channel 6) hit go
OR another easier way
1) Visit Gamesurge.net/chat
2) Once it loads, type in /join #mustangforums
It's on the GameSurge network.
Open IRC(with a program like mIRC), and /join #mustangforums

1. go to www.mirc.com
2. Download MIRC
3. Install Mirc
4. Go here http://www.gamesurge.net/createaccount/
5. Register a nickname
6. Confirm your address threw the email gamesurge sends you
7. Open Mirc
8. click options / servers /
9. select gamesurge and connect to random gamesurge
10. click on the heart button beside the options button
11. type in mustangforums
12. talk ****

It takes 2 seconds to download mIRC, install it, and connect to the server
