no, it has the front suspension only on it. it is supposed to be a 2006 model. a pic of it is attached

the rockhopper is above the hardrock in price, and you get better front shocks, better componentry, and a frame that's a little lighter.

so yes. go with the rockhopper. its a badass bike.


the cheapest full suspension thats worth buying is the Giant Yukon. its a standard 4-link and doesn't have their maestro technology. the bike goes for $749 at my shop.

ive got a Specialized Hard Rock Sport Disc, set me back about $500 after taxes.

the non disc would be pretty nice but i rode my brothers MTB and it had 6" disc brakes and loved them

Well guys I did it! I went out and bought a giant boulder se! Its the 2008 model thats the black and dark charcoal. Thanks for all your input!

i got the medium size frame for 5'7" - 5'10" people and it fits me perfect! I tried the small but it was just not comfortable and felt too tiny! I will look into those tires but right now i need to get busy working the tread off of these! Also I got the bike shop to toss in 4 free tune ups coupons and some chain lube for free with the price! (which he told me he usually doesnt do.... but who knows) Speaking of the price i got it new off the floor for alittle over 300.00 with tax and all. He had alot of 2009 models out there already and this was his last 08 model for the medium frame, and he wanted it gone! I dont care much for the 09's they have a different frame set up.

I gotta cheap Dyno but hey, its got Dual Disc Brakes and a decent susp so its coo for now!!
