Kobe is more fun to watch because he's a one man show and he's got that killer instinct on the court. If I wanted to score points in the last 10 minutes, I'd take Kobe over Lebron.
BUT, I'm not a detailed in depth sports fan like say, Redass. Red might feel different about the overall team leader, bigger, stronger and future of Lebron. If he had players like the Lakers, he might be able to lead a team better. But like I say, I'm a flash in the pan guy because that's all "I" really care about.
Kobe is definitely a better leader now than he was 5 years ago. Like Phil Jackson said, Kobe was ready to be a leader when he was 22, but nobody else on the team was ready to follow him.
I think Lebron can be better than Kobe one day if he ever develops a better perimeter game. He doesn't have 1/3 the jumpshot kobe has.
