What small business has it's employees driving Mercedes and writing Quarterly Taxes for $288,000?
This article is nothing but one man working hard, reaping the benefits, and bitching that the government is trying to close the gap from the poor/rich. Notice he doesn't commend his employees once, nor doe's he appreciate his country; this man is nothing more than selfish traitor whining about taxes. Who do you care about more? The rich pompus CEO who complains of taxes and insults his workers and government; or the single mother trying to make ends meet with her 3 children? Thats where your soo precious money is going, to HELP PEOPLE. I'm sorry you won't be able to buy that Bugatti Veyron, Ms. Johnson has to eat this week.
Dip chit.
If Ms Johnson got off her ass and did something for herself she wouldn't have to rely on mine and yours tax dollars. We pay that in taxes, not because of income but because of the inventory required to keep a business operating the way we do. I'm not saying some people don't need help but the vast majority are simply lazy. I know people who wouldn't work for us because it would take away their free healthcare if they started working. You give someone no motivation to work if everything is handed to them. I might as well just spend all my money on my car and guns and let the government take care of my eating needs!!

If my workers were slacking, I'd drop them like a hat if I had the chance.
And then I'd ask the single mother with three children if she would like to work for her money, or continue to be on welfare. And it wouldn't surprise me one bit if she chose to stay on welfare.
I've heard of women who keep having children to collect welfare, and I've heard of eighty year old women who still work without retiring. I'm with the boss. Do what it takes to keep Yourself alive.

Amen man. My Grandmother who is 87 comes in to our shop EVERY day and packs rod bolts. She missed two weeks for my grandads funeral, that's it. Why the hell can that single mother not do the same?
F*** that train of thought, I work for mine and so can she. Shouldn't of had 3 children if she couldn't afford it.

People talk about all that boss has
Shows how hard he has worked to earn it and pay for it on his own
Get's screwed by taxes
Forced to layoff to maintain an extremely slim margin of profit.

I agree with you, you give someone everything, and they won't work. And our country has a HUGE issue with people receiving welfare and disability pay. That doesn't mean that our companies are in the clear. Just because a select few are lazy and take advantage of the government benefits doesn't mean they all do.
CEO's blowing bailout money = Welfare leeches
They both hurt our country equally. Dethrone the CEO's from their golden chair, and kill the leeches sucking the blood out of America. Everybody wins.

In a perfect world that's how it would work, but unfortunately a few bad eggs usually ruin it for everyone. I don't disagree that CEO's do nothing for us in large part but I have a bigger problem with the Union's than with CEO's. There was a time and a place for them but today isn't that and they are ruining our automotive industry. Instead of allowing pay decreases the big 3 are forced to lay off which is another huge factor in where we are today. Sure joe blow CEO makes $X amount a year but think if Obama hadn't of blown $2billion on his inauguration party what he could of changed for the better with that money?
I'm not pointing the blame at Obama but I do feel our government spending as a whole is at a ridiculous amount - which trickles down to us. I'm quite certain that if the government was a business, it would have failed quite some time ago.

Umm yeah...DONT put the finger on Obama. You want to blame someone, blame George Bush.
-$800b in Iraq/Afghanistan
-$billions in auto bailout
-$300k in "Fine China" for the White House before leaving office
-Numerous failed economic stimulus packages
-Reforming the Homeland Security Department(BP, INS, ICE, etc.)
Obama has been President for FOUR DAYS, and he's already cutting back government spending left and right.
-Closure of Guantanamo Bay
-Ending soldiers terms in Iraq/Afghanistan
-Freezing promotions for surplus government jobs($100k
Yes, Obama's inauguration was extravagant. There was a reason.
-Our country is depressed and pessimistic. He wanted to inspire people and give hope for the future. Rally the people and get them back on their feet.
-This is the first black President. The African American community deserved a party. After all, it will go down in the history books.
I'm a full blooded Republican, and even I admit Bush was a mistake, and Obama can lead our country out of this mess.
