I was in no way pointing the blame on our new president, just curious how things will play out my friend.

Obama is not a black president. He is a bi-racial president.

I have a feeling this man will lead this country out of the gloom.

Indeed. Theres a lot of work to be done, and I don't think our country has hit the hardest of the recession yet.

I agree. Rich CEO's are rich for a reason. They didn't get their positions by sitting at home collecting welfare, or putting in the minimum effort to get their paychecks every other week. Rewarding the hard workers is good, but there is no way to separate the hard workers from the lazy bums. So instead they just reward the lower class and tax the hell out of the upper class. Some situations are sad. There are people who really do need more money to support their families, and their situation might not even be their fault. But giving handouts is not what this country is supposed to be about. It sucks, but thats life. Last I checked we are a capitalist country, not socialist, but it seems we are moving closer to that all the time.

I agree with the poster talking about ridiculous gov't spending though. I like Obama(aside from his views on gun laws), but spending that amount on a party to celebrate becoming president is stupid. He just moved down a notch or two from that. Then he goes and reduces the budget for his staff... Talk about a hippocrit

Mustang cat you may call yourself a republican, but you are not a conservative. That is why I do not identify with the republican party anymore....

Obama's inauguration was paid for by private funds; the only thing we paid for was the security which I have no problem doing.

8 years ago this guy lost a democratic congressional primary... Now he's the president. This guy is a nobody, listen to him talk, this is gonna be Rahm Emanuel running everything.. Uh forget it, I cannot believe this guy is a president. He's "closing" gitmo yet has NO plan on what he's going to do with the terrorists we have in there? Not to mention we now know for a fact that 65 people that we released from Gitmo were back to terrorism and fighting us. This is a joke, this is a move an ideologue makes not a pragmatist. I can't stand it.

This article is nothing but one man working hard, reaping the benefits, and bitching that the government is trying to close the gap from the poor/rich. Notice he doesn't commend his employees once, nor doe's he appreciate his country; this man is nothing more than selfish traitor whining about taxes. Who do you care about more? The rich pompus CEO who complains of taxes and insults his workers and government; or the single mother trying to make ends meet with her 3 children? Thats where your soo precious money is going, to HELP PEOPLE. I'm sorry you won't be able to buy that Bugatti Veyron, Ms. Johnson has to eat this week.

Dip chit.

godamn Mustangcat. The level of naivety you show sometimes is astounding.

You're smarter than that so I am confident that one day, probably in the not too distant future, when you realize how bad The Man has been ass raping everybody under the guise of 'helping people', you will come around. I believe in you man...
