Well today is the first time i have had my car out since the last cruise...so i was testing the new tires and h/e tryin to cycle the coolant so i could add more...well i leave my rents house and there is some civic cruise so i show him what a lil american muscle looks like and fly past him...i run through first spinning all of it...hit second and fish tail a lil... run it all the way 2 the top of 3rd and look in my rear view only seeing flashing lights... i pull over and put on my flashers yelling f*ck!!! so the cop gets out of his car and says "did u win" i laugh and say i wasnt racing him...then he asked if my record is clean and i say i have never had a ticket.... well he asks for my license and reg. and says well dont sweat it let me make sure everything checks out... he goes into his car runs the plates comes back w/ a written warning in hand and says " i kno u have a lot of horsepower but next time u do that make sure there isnt a cop behind u" i laugh and say i didnt see u, this is the first time i have driven her in over a month... he say be careful with this thing its a beautiful car and hands me all of my info.... wow was i lucky, what a cop he was prob about 26 and loves car... i just saved some money from a ticket that can stay in my mod fund...this is the same cop that pulled my buddy over doin about 120 and told him 2 go home and park his stang... best cop in HOCO!!!
and then 2 top it off my parents were out cruisin on their harley and on their way back they passed me smiled and waved...when i got home they said how much did this one cost u... then i laughed and said nothing... i got off!!!

Although im not a Shelby and i dont care if im not supposed to be in here, but that is probably one of the greatest "...well I got pulled over..." stories, i just wish the cops around here were that relaxed!!!!!! That inspires me to go out and test the waters!!!!JK

congrats and great story....i had a similar situation..I was running an M6 ,,,I was doing about 120 ...then he slowed up fast...so I started to slow down and bam..Hillsborough county deputy....pulls me over.asks me why i was going fast..I just told him I was being stupid checking out what it could do and apologized..he then...sticks his head in my window and says nice ride,.,then asks for my stuff....he let me off with a warning and advice...told me and I quote "Sir you have a bad ass car....but please if you want to open her up...do it on the highway to which i replied..officer...I would but FHP is not as fogiving as you...he laughed..and said slow down...
been driving pretty slow ever since...I will say this...if he had me on radar gun...I dont think he would have been so forgiving...
congrats again zporta.....isnt it funny how the first word is always that "F" word...the funny part too is when you see the cop coming up behind you as I did without his lights you try to do the "he cant see me if I drive real slow now" drive but he turned on the gumball maching and that was it....keep safe bro
