i can only think of 1 person i know that still owns a wii, because everyone else that did own one, sold it when they realized it would sit for months on end without use, because they never wanted to play it unless they were with a group of people, or were catering to young family members.

from personal experience, when it comes to sports games on the wii, i noticed that the only ones that were actually fun to play, for the most part were "non-team" sports. like bowling, golf, etc.

team sports on the wii, like Madden were HORRIBLE. especially, when games like that were so complex with their controls, that they had to take away from the physical mechanics of the system, to make the game work properly. like with madden, you dont actually make the arm motions like youre throwing or catching the ball, because the system doesnt understand that stuff enough to make it work right... where as, games like bowling an golf, are much more focused on the physics of the gameplay, since the controls are so basic.

Yeah, I've found myself playing the Bowling game a few times if I'm bored and waiting for something to happen.. Now that I have a 360 though, I doubt that will happen much..

i sort of can,,

but its got potential to be pretty gay..

obviously, you can move with the nunchuck in the left hand..and theres two buttons there to maybe speed up or check etc...

and the stick in your right hand has a trigger button for shooting and the a button on top for passing??

im not sure how they 'movements' would be brought into it, but that would be a basic way to play 'normal'

i just want someone who HAS a hockey game for hte wii to chime in
