Yah, its an issue on the first 300 or so SS cars built. The power cable from the trunk mounted battery rubs on the starter and shorts leaving it with no power.

They couldnt wrap that particular piece with rubber or something from the factory? Every car its first year has stuff that was ill-designed. However, the camaro has however been in development for what? YEARS????

I just hope theres nothing REALLY wrong with the 2010 stangs. We'll be eatin it for awhile.....

Every new car has its kinks that need to be worked out. However, the fact that this car has been slated for release for at least four years, coupled with the fact that GM really really REALLY needs to turn its image around is not good PR at all. This is why we won't be "eatin it" if the stang has some issues.
