Yes. It's finally happening. My buddies came down today with a trailer and loaded the Cobra up to take to a friends bodyshop in PA. Words cannot express how excited I am to finally be putting this thing back together.
Here are some pictures, I'm going to be slowly turning this into a ferminator, plan on getting the 03/04 Cobra hood/front bumper, and side scoops...possibly the side skirts from it too.
Any ideas for it? Depending on how much it costs to get fixed, I eventually wanna KB it, but I think for right now I just want to hear that rumble of the v8 again I miss it sooo bad. (cue the zomg you can't handle 300rwhp how can you handle 500)
Anyhow, just thought I'd share. I'll update this as I get more news from the bodyshop. I'm hoping it's done in 3 or 4 weeks.
By the way, I didn't think the door opened, but I just had never tried it? Well my buddy grabbed the handle and it opened right up. I shoulda taken pictures with the door open so you could see the floor damage more, but oh well. Anyhow, laser red ftw
I can't believe you are wasting your time fixing that. Besides, where you gonna get the money for all the internals and a KB, dispatcher? You're talking mega bucks.
