I think it'd be close man. A cat is a cat and a bear is a member of the swine family, slow and not so smart. It would be a bloodbath and a long one at that. My money is on the grizzly with him dying soon after from the wounds inflicted by the 400lb cat...

you were saying tiger vs bear, and they were saying lion vs bear, and i was showing that a tiger would maul a lion so if a tiger cant beat a bear, i doubt a lion could

heres lion vs bear though

i think any of the big cats would rock a bear....only way i see a bear winning is if it was a 1200lb kodiak bear against a smaller tiger/lion

To the original question.

A shark small enough to move around in 3 feet of water is gonna get WAXED. And a large shark that might have otherwise killed a bear is gonna be excessively slow and pretty much unable to bite anything but a foot off in such shallow water.

Bear > Shark

Have ya'll ever seen this? Tiger vs. Crocodile. Before I watched it for the first time I guessed wrong. Way wrong.

It amazed me how quickly the loser was dispatched.
