I am currently enrolled in two classes starting on Monday 4-6 and 6-7 but, just realized my effing Wisdom Teeth surgery is scheduled at 7:00AM on the same Monday...
Any tips OT? I really, really don't want to drop these classes(Microbio, and Hist).

As long as you do what you're supposed to do (as far as doing the whole salt water deal, etc), it won't become an issue. I didn't even use the painkillers, and I was fine right out of surgery.. granted once the IV stuff wore off my gums were slightly agitated, but aside from that (and no pain at all, just agitation like I mentioned) no problems.. not a serious thing at all.

Depends on what they give you in surgery. They gave me some sort of laughing gas and the only thing I remember post op. was rolling outta there in a wheelchair. You should be fine by the time class rolls around, just a little groggy.
I've only had one wisdom taken out and it gave me no problems. The coolest thing ever was the **** they gave me before the surgery...it was some stuff that doesn't knock you out you just completely forget what the **** is going on. I was a little skeptical on the stuff beforehand and the hot ass assistant said I wouldn't remember a damn thing. She was right. Never needed the painkillers...sure as hell used them though.
i was knocked out. woke up not knowing WTF happened. was in so much pain. the gave me vicodin n **** but it didnt help. youre supposed to keep pressure on and bite down on some gauze rolls on the wounds. apparnetly i wasnt biting hard enough so i felt like cutting my head off. it was the most pain ive ever felt. ive said this before, i even punched a hole straight through the kitchen wall into my room.
It depends. Are your wisdom teeth out already? Mine were still in the gums and coming up on an angle underneath the teeth in front of them. So my recovery time was a bit more. I bled a lot for about a day, the pain sucked and all I had was tylenol cause my mom didn't want me on anything prescription like perks or vicodin (I was like 14 when this happened, maybe 15). And then I couldn't eat normal for a few weeks.
Oh, and the stitches were really really annoying. I ended up pulling them out with my tounge. And I couldn't drink from a straw cause it caused too much of a vacuum and I'd suck the clots out. I wasn't supposed to eat anything I had to chew, but I managed to get good at mashing it with my tounge enough to swallow.
Overall I'd say it was one of the ****tier experiences in life. But if your teeth are already through the gum, I wouldn't worry too much.

+1 On the teeth thru the gums already, but I was in your situation Xemeth.
I somehow removed the clots on my bottom two teeth and got dry socket. The **** hurt like a mother****er. Probably worse than when I snapped my humerus (shoulder to elbow bone) and had it nearly protruding through the skin. DO NOT do anything that will screw up the clots. After the surgery I was fine... that was ok. The dry socket is what hurt. And the Lortab helped. That was probably the best part - pop 2 pills and put on some Pink Floyd.

mine were out and i barely noticed. they made me get them out. But i was awake for it all. I was told not to talk afterwords- got a phone call and picked up. assistant yelled at me. went to a concert that ngiht, work the next day. didnt feel any different to me!
then it got infected and I got put on some more meds for a month. then it was all good!
